Field guide 01

How to play DelveRush.

Mine for Coins. Salvage shipwrecks. Craft gear worth caring about. Open the next planet, then return to a home in orbit.

A mining game with somewhere to go.

DelveRush turns familiar Minecraft mining into a cooperative space expedition.

Blocks pay Coins directly, so your inventory stays clear. Every planet has a main mineable body and a surrounding asteroid field. The further you go, the more valuable the economy becomes and the stranger your gear, armor, and field gadgets can become.

Most progress is personal, but the biggest moments are shared. Mining near other players builds Momentum, each zone works toward one Rush goal, and Rift encounters invite everyone nearby into the fight.

The expedition

From first swing to Descent.

You can learn the loop by playing. These five steps are the whole journey without the in-game detail.

  1. Take the starter kit

Arrive with a Torchline Pick, an Arc Edge, a physical tier-1 Shaftwing, and the permanent Wayfinder's Ledger. The ledger refreshes every time it opens, so the next useful objective is always close at hand.

  2. Ground-truth the frontier

Hold near stable asteroid sectors, mine eight natural samples to verify each one, visit landmarks on foot, resolve sampled events, and contribute to Rift fights.

  3. Earn each world's field tool

Complete the settlement's local survey, reach, landmark, and event contract. Its artifact stays with you and works across every world.

  4. Grow land, equipment, and reach

Use those artifacts for four Colony deeds, certify equipment through your own planet progress, and complete the multi-discipline Wayfarer commission.

  5. Open worlds and Descend

Meet every frontier clearance axis, then finish Event Horizon, attune the Null Seal, and confirm the exact-spend Descent for lasting yield.

Connected systems

Everything feeds the next trip.

Mining, exploration, gear, armor, gadgets, and the Colony support one another. None of them exists as a separate minigame.

Mining

Coins open space.

Mineable blocks convert into Coins. Higher planets pay more, and four asteroid grades raise block value again.

Exploration

Signals ask for fieldwork.

Scans become verified only after eight natural samples. Landmarks require an on-foot sneak approach, and events require ground-truthed asteroids.

Gear

The item remembers.

Enhancement from +0 to +10 and two socketed runes belong to one physical tool or weapon. A risky failure can destroy it.

Armor

The loadout is visible.

Twelve physical pieces form three sets. Only exact pieces worn in distinct slots count, and each piece keeps its own enhancement and compatible runes.

Gadgets

Utility has a serial.

Eight transferable gadgets carry their own tier and addons. Tamsin previews risky upgrades and installs Shaftwing modules safely.

Colony

Discovery builds a home.

Four Land Levels each pair a Coin deed with a kept planet artifact. Level 1 has no dock; Level 2 opens the private Slipway.

Useful rules

What new players should know.

Mining dropsBlocks become Coins directly; they do not fill your inventory.
Starter gearEvery new player receives a Torchline Pick and Arc Edge.
Active missionsRight-click the permanent Wayfinder's Ledger to read live progress for route clearance, local contracts, deeds, the Wayfarer, daily orders, and Descent. Use /missions to open or reclaim it.
Equipment ownershipPhysical equipment remains transferable and keeps its exact serial, enhancement, runes, fuel, and addons. A transferred tool, weapon, armor piece, or gadget only activates for a player who has personally reached its required planet tier.
Planet travelThe Star Map unlocks planets and quotes a fare. Repeat portal trips and your owned My Colony Plot destination are free.
DeathInventory and experience are kept, but field evacuation costs 5% of carried Coins with a small planet-scaled minimum. You recover at the current arrival camp instead of receiving a free Colony teleport.
BuildingBuild on owned Colony land and inside persistent construction envelopes around procedural asteroids. Player-placed blocks never become autosell mining value.
WayfarerRequires Land Level 2, Mycelia fieldwork, the Rootward Symbiote Lantern, 100,000 Coins, 250 Cores, and every posted exploration axis.
