Frequently asked

What you need to know.

These answers describe the current server build and public launch plan. They avoid features that are only ideas.

What is DelveRush?

DelveRush is a cooperative space-mining server for Minecraft: Java Edition. You mine planets for Coins, fly to asteroids, search shipwrecks, build gear, join group Rift fights, and make a home around a shared space station.

Is DelveRush open to the public?

Not yet. Public beta starts August 14, 2026. You can already add play.delverush.com to your Minecraft Java server list.

Which Minecraft version does DelveRush use?

DelveRush is built for Minecraft: Java Edition 26.2. Bedrock Edition support is not currently available.

Do I need to install mods?

No client mods are required. The server sends a required resource pack when you join. Third-party shader packs such as Iris or OptiFine shaders should be turned off because they replace the custom planet skies.

How do I track active missions?

Every player receives a permanent soulbound Wayfinder's Ledger. Right-click the signed book to refresh and read route clearance, local contracts, Colony deeds, Wayfarer progress, daily field orders, and Descent objectives. Use /missions to open it or reclaim a missing copy.

What happens when I mine a block?

Mineable blocks turn directly into Coins instead of filling your inventory with materials. Coins unlock planets, pay for travel, and fund NPC gear services; rare shipwrecks supply artifacts for crafting new tools and weapons.

How do tools and weapons work?

New players receive a Torchline Pick and Arc Edge and can replace either free at Salvager Kade's starter rack. Advanced gear can be crafted from multi-artifact recipes with Coins and Cores, or commissioned for a higher Coin-only price. Gear is physical, droppable, storable, and transferable. Enhancement from +0 to +10 and up to two socketed runes belong to the exact item; risky enhancement can destroy that submitted item. A transferred item only activates after its holder personally reaches its required planet tier. NPC specialists handle buying, selling, crafting, enhancement, and socketing, with no tool or weapon P2P market in this release.

How do gadgets work?

Mechanist Tamsin sells, upgrades, modifies, and salvages eight physical gadgets at the Aetherworks Hangar. A gadget's tier, fuel, addons, and stored state belong to that exact transferable item, while its holder must personally reach the required planet tier to activate it. Tier upgrades disclose success and break risk before confirmation; addon installation always succeeds. The tier-1 Shaftwing is issued once and replaced free, and there is no P2P gadget listing market.

How does armor work?

Wardwright Veyra sells and Setcrafts twelve physical armor pieces at the Bulwark Atelier. Dustwalker, Wreckwarden, and Eventide Aegis bonuses count only from exact personally certified pieces currently worn in distinct slots. Each piece carries its own risky +0 to +10 enhancement and up to two unique compatible runes; it can be dropped, stored, or transferred, but there is no armor listing market.

Are the asteroid fields random?

They are procedural but stable. Each area is generated from the same saved location, so its asteroid position, shape, grade, and core do not change when the server restarts.

Can I build anywhere?

Not anywhere. Planet and hub infrastructure is protected. Players can own and improve private Colony land, and every procedural asteroid has a persistent construction envelope. Player-placed blocks are tracked and never pay mining Coins.

How do Colony land and ships work?

Land has four visible Levels costing 10,000, 25,000, 75,000, and 300,000 Coins. Each deed also requires a kept artifact earned through a particular planet's field contract. Level 1 has no dock; Level 2 opens the private Slipway. A Wayfarer then costs 100,000 Coins and 250 Cores and requires Mycelia access, its Rootward Symbiote Lantern, and a complete Mycelia exploration record.

Can public pumps fill my jetpack?

Only in an emergency. A public Wayline offers a 200-fuel splash or quarter-tank top-up at a progression-scaled premium once every ten minutes. Full, unrestricted refills require reusable Biofuel canisters or a player-built Filling Station unlocked at Land Level 3.

Is DelveRush a PvP server?

No. PvP is disabled. DelveRush is designed around mining near other players, shared Zone Rush goals, and short cooperative Rift encounters.

Is DelveRush pay-to-win?

No. Coins, Cores, equipment, enhancement power, runes, planets, relics, and progression are earned through play. The project rule allows cosmetic purchases only and does not allow paid power or random paid rewards.

What is a Descent?

A Descent is the late-game rite after Event Horizon. It requires final clearance and an attuned Null Seal, spends exactly 7,500,000 Coins, previews its reset, and must be confirmed within 30 seconds. World surveys, landmarks, events, Rifts, and extraction records reset; Colony land, the Wayfarer, physical equipment, relics, and planet artifacts remain. The first five Descents add 8% Coin yield each, then the next five add 2% each, capped at +50%.
